This same description applies to Toronto-based Bonjour Baby Baskets, launched in March 2014. Some may say that opposites attract, but when it comes to an effective manufacturer/retailer partnership, great minds think alike!

The baby-product retail landscape is peppered with online boutiques all offering similar services and identical products. To make a real splash on the market, companies need to fill a void and offer something totally novel. Bonjour Baby Baskets does just that, and Öko is proud and honoured to be onboard!

Born from a conversation around the dinner table, Bonjour Baby Baskets offers high-quality, brand-name products in beautiful and carefully curated gift baskets. Forget the cellophane, giant plastic bows and dime-a-dozen stuffed animals: these are reusable natural wool baskets wrapped in soft tulle, full of designer brands that new parents will treasure… not trash!

Pre-designed baskets can be selected based on baby’s gender or on a theme, like bath time. For a more personal gift, shoppers can pick and choose the contents of the gift basket. Öko’s hooded towel, bibs and hemp washcloths are in glamorous company in baskets paired with Burberry, David Fussenegger and Armani Junior. Five dollars from every basket purchased is donated to owner Susana’s charity of choice: Camp Trillium, providing recreational activities for children with cancer and their families.
