Now I would want to share with you some secrets about on-line sales. Let's dive right into them. ;)
Very often I hear "I have an amazing content, but I don't have sales!",
I start asking questions:
▶ How many new followers/subscribers you gained last month?
▶ How many clients you had last month?
▶ How much in average have they spent?
▶ Have you done any adverts and how often?
And so on...I know it's a lot of questions but...🙉 usually I don't have ANY answers...
Usually 1 out of 10 people has these statistics. But it's so important. And answering those questions might show you why exactly you don't have sales😉Let's look into it...
- No activity on you page - no sales.
- You don't have posts in which you actually sell - no sales.
- No adverts - no sales.
- Usually people like doing only one thing. Like writing fun posts and keep people entertained. That's cool, but if you're not leading people to buy something, you're not gonna have money any time soon.
✅ What to do? Be active, regularly post adverts and attract new followers/subscribers.
✅ Make selling posts several times a week(2-4), depending on a type of your business. INTERESTING selling posts - not just "dress, size x, for more info DM", but they must include price, description and call for action. You must want to buy it yourself!
2.- One more common problem - selling, but not being interested in attracting new clients.
Sooner or later you will run out of people who want/can buy anything from you.
✅ What to do? Regularly attract new subscribers/clients. Try different channels for it(not only Instagram), different social platforms, B2B, web-page, context advertising and so on...
3.- Also there is mistake of selling only ONE product.
So someone is selling only one thing, and everyone has already bought it and everyone is very satisfied with it and they would buy something else...but there is nothing to buy.
✅ What to do: experiment with your products, try to sell new ones or new versions of the old one, premium or economic versions - that will widen your target audience.
