Where are you based?
We are an online Baby Boutique based in Toronto, Canada

How long have you been in business?
We opened our store on March 17, 2014 (St. Patrick’s day and coincidentally my wedding anniversary)

Tell us how you got started.
Bonjour Baby Baskets started out of a conversation over dinner with the kids. As all good enterprises started out of frustration and a great idea.  I always tried to find beautiful and good quality gift baby baskets to send to colleagues and clients with designer’s baby gifts that parents will treasure and actually use; but I could not find them anywhere. One day, during a family get together, I expressed my frustrations and we all agreed that there was a need for luxury baby gift baskets in the market and they encouraged me to go for it

 Tell us about your business.
Our gift baskets are different because they are made with lots of love. We spend lots of time finding the perfect combination of products to create a very unique gift.  For us creating a gift basket is like creating a piece of art. We don’t post the new products on the website until we are completely satisfied that the Gift Basket is absolutely perfect

We carefully curate each gift basket with designer clothing, organic and natural products and safe toys for babies. We work with well-known designers and we love discovering new ones. Most of our products are locally made.

What is your best selling product?
Since we specialize in luxury baby gift baskets and exclusive and unique baby gifts most of our products sold out very fast so they all qualify as best selling products. We like to change our designs and when they are gone mostly they will not come back.

 How does the BYOB work?
We are giving our customers the option to choose between our already made and carefully curated gift baskets or a BYOB (Build Your Own Basket) It is very easy…First you select all the items that you would like to add to your gift basket from our vast selection of products from the “Accessories” section of our website, then you choose a basket for a boy or a girl, add a greeting card, and voila! All done. We will take care of making everything look very pretty.

 
Who are the more popular designers you work with or that people like to use?
Most of the designers we work with are very well known or completely new in the market. We are proud to say that we have personal relationships with all of them and our customers embrace their creativity and fabulous designs. We have some surprises coming this upcoming season

 On your website it says that you give back to charity. Tell us more about that.
Giving back is very important to us and its part of Bonjour Baby Baskets philosophy. Every year we choose a local charity and we donate $5 from the proceeds of each gift basket sold to that charity. It is our small contribution to these worthy causes.

Is there anything else you would like people to know about Bonjour Baby Baskets?
We love what we do and hope that our beautiful Gift Baskets reflects that.
