Getting to Know You (us)
We’ve collected the most common questions we’ve received from our company history to style preferences so you can get to know us a little better.
Twenty-something years ago I made the best decision of my life by moving to Canada. It wasn't easy. I was alone with 3 young kids but we managed with positive thoughts and lots of love.  I consider myself fortunate to live in this country, especially Toronto, where opportunities abound and people from many parts of the world call themselves neighbours. I am thankful to live in a place where my kids grew surrounded by tolerance and acceptance.

Reflections on Motherhood from a Grandmother
Now that I am a grandmother -twice over- I relate to motherhood differently. When your baby is born you think: I will never love another creature so intensely.  If you are blessed with more children, you learn that the heart grows and expands for there is always room for more love. Then your children give you grandchildren and your heart stretches even more, and never in your wildest dreams did you imagine how much love, in all its iterations, was possible.

The Heir and The Loom

Autumn has us feeling sentimental and thinking of old memories and new ones to be forged. What makes for a unique heirloom, a piece to be treasured?

Long before I started Bonjour Baby Baskets I fell in love with quality fabrics and unique design. The heirlooms that ‘brought me joy’ were much-loved tactile objects that reminded me of my children’s first days.

The Joys of Breastfeeding
